Anti-Aging Method: Exercise and diet |

Of all the fancy anti-aging products on the market these days it still remains true that the best anti-aging method is very simple. Your body is an electro-chemical marvel and will maintain its natural plasticity simply by following a proper lifestyle pattern. This simple pattern includes two items: nutrition and exercise.
In our modern society, 95% of the foods available in stores and fast food restaurants is processed. Processed foods, by their very nature, contain additives to keep them fresh for long periods of time. These same additives are counter-productive to anti-aging. This processing not only robs food of its natural nutritional benefits but also adds chemicals which may be harmful to our body.
Eat natural non-processed foods to promote anti-aging. These foods include fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts, and fresh meats. The mixture of these non-processed foods depends on your own life style. The key here is the term non-processed. Yes, fresh foods may not keep as long as processed foods; however, the choice here is between selecting foods which will keep in your refrigerator for weeks or foods which will add weeks to your life.
Avoid carbohydrates. Consuming too many calories is counter-productive to anti-aging and will shorten your lifespan. Carbohydrates will increase insulin production which prevents Human Growth Hormone [HGH] production. HGH stimulates body growth which helps the body to remain healthy and young. As you grow older, your body will naturally produce less HGH; however, do not speed this natural process along by increasing your carbohydrate intake. Also, remember that carbohydrates come in liquid forms such as soft drinks, processed juice drinks and processed milk.
Get an anti-aging exercise plan. Incorporate two simple types of exercise: cardiovascular and weight resistance. These will improve conditions inside your body and stimulate production of growth hormones. 20-30 minutes every other day is all it takes. The key here is to stay active. If you do not use your body’s physical systems, you will lose them. Just as important as your muscles, is your mind. Join clubs, interact with people, play a video game. Keep your mind engaged. Your mind exercises by experiencing new things.
Anti-aging techniques are not rocket science no matter how much hype you hear. Keep in mind that some of the oldest people alive today credit their longevity to good food and good living. |
